In testing, anyone can create a new Offering which generates assets tradable on the SpiritEx Market Exchange. New Offerings will appear in the Public Offerings page of the SpiritEx Market Website.
Start by navigating to your Account and selecting the Offerings section. Within this section, there is a Create Whiskey Offering button. Click that button to create a new Draft Offering. The Draft Offering is an editable page where the author can specify the contents of the Offering (e.g. bottle sizes, cask types/sizes, etc.)

Once a new Draft Offering has been created, it is editable but is not available for trading yet. Use the page sections below to edit the Offering, save it, and finally activate it.

To successfuly create a new Whiskey Offering, you must specify at least one cask. You must specify the LOA (Liters of Alcohol) for each cask and the ABV (Alcohol By Volume) as a ratio (e.g. 0.20 is 20.0%).
¶ Saving and Activating the Draft Offering
Clicking the Save button will save all changes made to the Draft Offering and perform two functions:
- Identify any Validation Errors within the Offering.
- Recalculate the final
Bottle CountandReservepercentage for the Offering.
If no validation errors exist, the Draft Offering can be activated by clicking the Activate button. When an Offering is activated, it no longer becomes editable and will now appear as a tradable offering to the public.
